Hello! Just want to say I'm coming back to my hometown tomorrow! Are you happy for me? Yay! Thanks! I will make one entry to tell you about my first week of trimester 2 and that's a promise. I'm feeling a little bit down right now and I'm just making it worse by listening to sad songs.....but in the same time, I'm expressing stuffs here so I think I'd be just fine.
I was feeling excited and all because tomorrow's Friday and tell me who doesn't loves Fridays?! But today I purchased a second hand book; Business Law from a senior of mine. She's a Beta student, she was very talkative (tell me which Law student that's not talkative), what made my day special was meeting her. She didn't stop talking & ask questions! She also gave me so many tips on what to do, how to not just passed but to get first class pointer for foundation also. I was just so amazed with her until.................
Me being me, I AM ALWAYS AND ALWAYS excited when I got a new book. Be it any new book, especially a Law textbook. I checked the book I bought from her in total excitement, oh nice it's clean, not so much notes jotted down, no doodling or whatsoever. But just when I turned over the book and looked at its back cover...at the bottom right where the price is.....Fuck, I couldn't believe my eyes. The price tag shows 'RM29.00' Fuck, fuck, fuck. I rubbed my eyes in disbelief.
Fuck! I thought I've saved some money but fuckkkkkkkk now I feel like a total idiot! That girl must be so happy right now T_T I bought the book from her for RM28, when the real book's price is RM29. Dad will totally laugh at me. Whatnot my girls....I'm basically preparing my mental to face them when I told them this. Ha-ha!
So that's my first horrible experience on buying a second hand book. Lessons learnt: always ask the real price of the book, request to see the condition of the book first, negotiate the price & be firm.
Anyway because of today's idiot act I did that made me feel like a loser, I promise I will cook & bake my favorites this weekend! So see ya!
